Who can benefit from a Mobile Dialysis Van?

MobileDialysis Vans by Odulair were developed for individual dialysis patients who need to travel and dialyze on their own schedule and for dialysis nurses and dialysis professionals who want to do business delivering on-site, on-demand dialysis treatments.

It is rare that anything medical is great for both patients and providers. The Odulair mobile dialysis vehicles are one of those things. The Odulair mobile dialysis van can improve the personal life of a patient who needs to travel frequently and also be a fulfilling business opportunity for the dialysis professional that succeeds by filling the existing gap in the delivery of dialysis services in their own community with a mobile dialysis business.

A Van for Travelling Dialysis

If you are a dialysis patient and you need or want to travel often, then a dialysis van gives the piece of mind of knowing you can easily dialyse at any moment’s notice.

Odulair Mobile Dialysis Vans are built to enable on-site and on-demand mobile dialysis services

Also, many institutions deal or host people who are also dialysis patients and it would be so convenient and easier if we could just have on-demand, on-site dialysis treatments as needed.

What type of dialysis can the mobile dialysis van provide?

The type of dialysis machine used may influence the nephrologist’s weekly recommendations of how many treatments are needed for each patient.

As a reference number, we’ll use a standard dialysis treatment schedule, where each patient receives dialysis treatments on alternating days of the week (M, W, F, or T, TH, S), with each treatment lasting 4 hours.

Number of Dialysis patients

Because each dialysis treatment takes about 4 hours to perform, a 1-chair dialysis unit operated by a nurse on an eight-hour shift can only deliver a maximum of 2 treatments per day. The maximum capacity for weekly treatments on a Odulair dialysis van with one (1) dialysis chair staffed with one nurse is four people.
